This is what it looked like before. Blah paint.(The furniture is the previous owner's, I took this when we were looking at the house before we bought it.)
We finished our dining room. I love the color! It's called Maleya Red. It took 4 coats! It will look so good with a black wrought iron light fixture and some fixtures on the wall.
We don't have a table yet to put in here so it's an empty room right now.Take a look...

That looks awesome. I heard somewhere that reds are a perfect color for the dining room--something about it aiding digestion or something (besides the fact that it just looks really cool). So you did good! :)
